I'm interested in making a teamwear order. Where do I start?

We have pre-designed templates available via our KitLab HERE that can be customised from the colour, collar and addition of logos/names/numbers.

 

Already have a specific design in mind? Fill out the 'Custom teamwear request form' HERE with as much specific detail as possible. Design preferences are subjective (some like it loud whereas others prefer it simple) - providing specific detail will allow us to design according to your preferences sooner and therefore reduce the overall lead time. Note we allow up to 2 minor iterations free of charge.

What are the turnaround times?

For custom sublimation products, our turnaround time is 4 weeks for production and 1 week for shipping to our Melbourne warehouse for distribution. For high-volume orders (150+) or complex designs, we recommend allowing an additional week as a buffer.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Teamwear orders:
KitLab template designs: 6
Custom designs: 10
Staples: 1
Re-orders: 4

 

This includes the alternate goalkeeper/libero kit in a different colourway.

 

Sportswear orders:
All sublimated: 10
Blank sportswear: 1

 

We can still accomodate for orders below the MOQ however this will incur additional fees. For more information, please discuss with our support team.

Can I re-order the same design at a later time?

Of course! AKU maintains a database of all previous orders. Just let us know the team name or contact name of your previous order and we can sort it for you!

 

Note the minimum order quantity for re-orders is 4.

Is there an additional cost for adding sponsors, names and numbers?

Nope! Adding sponsors, names, and numbers are all-inclusive in the price.

My order is currently in manufacturing. Can I add one more kit?

Absolutely! We can still make additions, though please note this may extend the turnaround time. If your order has already been completed, it will be treated as a new order, and a minimum quantity of 4 is required for re-orders.

My teammate wants a different number on their jersey. Is it too late to change?

Changes cannot be accepted after 3 days of order submission due to our batch manufacturing process.

What is your refund policy for teamwear products?

Issues with Teamwear purchases (Templates or Customs) will be discussed to ensure you're given the best customer experience. We will strive to compensate for errors on our behalf such as printing errors, size errors and untimely deliveries beyond what was communicated. AKU has stringent quality control processes that we improve on a continual basis to ensure efficient and accurate delivery. Let us know ASAP if there's anything at all you're not happy with your teamwear at info@akuonline.com.

What is your refund policy for sportswear products?

Requests for a refund, return or exchange will be fulfilled for up to 7 days from time of receiving order. After the 7 day period, requests may be rejected and sent back to the original delivery address. Please contact us for any further information. 

 

A request form must be completed with the returned items, please email info@akuonline.com for a copy. 

 

If your product is defective, email info@akuonline.com including photos to demonstrate the fault. If deemed defective we may ask you to return the item for quality control purposes, which you will be reimbursed for. 

 

The following items will not be offered refunds or exchanges in any form: customised products, washed items, damaged or dirty items, or used items.

Can I add an alternate kit for a goalkeeper/libero?

You're welcome to add an alternate kit for your goalkeeper or libero in a different colour, provided it matches the design of your player jerseys.

What colours can you print?

We have a wide range of colours that can be viewed on our colour palette upon request. For specific colours, keep in mind that the final shade may vary due to the sublimation process on white material. We offer colour matching for orders of 50+.

What file formats do you accept?

We accept vectored AI, EPS, or SVG files to ensure the highest print quality for your design.

 

We also accept PNG and JPG files, but if they are pixelated, they will need to be traced. Depending on the complexity, this may incur a one-time fee of $15-$100.

Do you do long sleeves?

We sure do! Long sleeve jerseys are an additional $5 per jersey and can be mixed in with your current order.

Do you offer samples?

What's your sizing like?

Our size charts have been developed based on Australian sizing — we have infant, youth, ladies and men's sizing.
Variances in sizes are impossible to avoid during production, even with top-notch quality control. The measurements provided in our size charts are just an indicator of sizing, so please allow for variations of 1-2 centimetres.
 

No exchanges or refunds can be made on custom products due to sizing decisions.

Are there any specific care instructions for your uniforms?

Turn garment inside out, in a cold or warm wash. Use mild detergent, avoid bleach and fabric softener. Dry hang in shade. Do not iron directly on off-court (sportswear) prints. Do not dry clean. Tumble dry on low heat.

What socks do you offer?

We offer athlete-level socks in a wide range of colours to match your kit. Purchase them separately for $15 or bundle them with a kit at a discounted rate.

What is your design proof disclaimer?

The mockup you're viewing is created and owned by AKU PTY LTD. Please note the colours displayed on your device may exhibit slight variations from the final product due to sublimation printing, and overall dimensions may differ accordingly. By approving the design proof, you confirm your understanding of this disclaimer and acknowledge that we cannot assume responsibility for any discrepancies noticed after approval.

Where can I leave feedback on experience with the AKU team?

Can I pay in instalments?

Once your order is finalised, we require a 50% deposit before we begin the manufacturing process. The remaining balance can be in instalments - feel free to let us know what works for you.

Do you offer bulk discounts?

Yes! Bulk discounts start from 20. Email us on info@akuonline.com or message our Facebook HERE and lets us know what you have in mind.

What are the prices?

The base prices are dependent on the complexity of the design. Upon submission of your design via our KitLab or Custom form you will receive a quote for your order. Alternatively, you can reach out to us directly for a price list.

What are your payment terms?

Production of your order will not commence until a minimum 50% deposit has been paid via bank transfer. The balance is payable prior to dispatch. Your order will not be shipped until your account has been paid in full and cleared. 

 

As we promptly process all orders to production, deposits are non-refundable once a 24 hour period has elapsed.

Where do you deliver to?

We currently kit teams in all states and territories across Australia. We can also deliver globally - charges will be dependent on the weight and size of the order as well as destination.

What are your shipping costs?

Delivery is free for orders over $100 across Australia. If your shipping location is based outside of Australia, costs for international shipping can be discussed.

Can I pick up my order?

Absolutely. Let us know and we can arrange this.

How long will it take to receive my order?

For Australia wide orders production and delivery takes approximately 4 weeks however, please allow a 1 week buffer due to potential shipping delays. Under special circumstances we can deliver earlier depending on the design and quantity. We will keep you informed on any updates to your delivery.

What if I entered my shipping address incorrectly?

As part of our process, once your order is ready to be dispatched, we would reconfirm your shipping address so if you've entered it incorrectly, don't stress!
